In many cases we have seen a bad display crystal and these steps will not help. If you can see your correct display with light shinning on it at the proper angle, these instructions will help. If your display is dark or discolored these instructions will be of little help. We are presently researching the part numbers for the display crystal, we need help! If you have an old Climate Control, please send so we may do testing. The unit will not be returned but there is plenty we can learn from it. The information will be posted. Thank you for your help.

Follow removal instructions for Lexus car stereo. Remove four screws, two from each side securing climate control to stereo mounting bracket and remove for repair.

1) Remove two Phillips screws, one from each side of climate control.

2) Remove escutcheon from climate control. Be careful to pull forward easily, allowing access to defective lamps. (You know this is about a $1000 unit new.)

From our experience, we have found replacing all lamps at the same time is the best practice. The one you do not replace today because it works will be out tomorrow.
