DIY - Do It Yourself Car Audio Removal, How to Remove Car Stereo and Speakers 1.1) Unsnap bezel trim from around climate control.
Car Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 2.1) Remove (4) star-drive (Torx) screws exposed.
DIY - Do It Yourself Car Audio Removal, How to Remove Car Stereo and Speakers 3.1) Pull the rubber steering collar back and carefully unsnap the left side dash trim bezel.
Car Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 4.1) Pull trim bezel toward drivers side of car releasing two tongues from slots on right side of trim panel.
DIY - Do It Yourself Car Audio Removal, How to Remove Car Stereo and Speakers 5.1) Remove screws securing car stereo to dash.
Car Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 6.1) Pull car stereo forward from cavity.

Buick Electra Front Door Panel How to Remove and Replace

Replacing Speakers, Removal and Installation Note - Control panels are "HOT", +12 volts. Remove one main car battery terminal from battery for safety.

1.1) Remove screw from door open handle cavity.

How to Install Speakers, Removing and Replacing 2.1) Pry edge of panel from door panel.
Replacing Speakers, Removal and Installation 3.1) Pull door open handle to release panel from from door panel.
How to Install Speakers, Removing and Replacing 4.1) At connector on back of panel, lift trigger on connector with small flat head screwdriver.

How to Install Speakers, Removing and Replacing 6.1) Remove panel and set to side.
Replacing Speakers, Removal and Installation 7.1) Pry front edge of arm rest control panel from arm rest releasing clip. All clips release with pry pressure.

Replacing Speakers, Removal and Installation 35.1) Lift trigger on side of connector to release and disconnect, remove door panel and set to side.

Replacing Speakers, Removal and Installation 37.1) Pry clips from door to remove.
How to Install Speakers, Removing and Replacing 38.1) Place clips into corresponding openings on door panel ready for reinstallation.
Replacing Speakers, Removal and Installation 39.1) Clips along bottom of door panel also hold weather stripping material in place.
How to Install Speakers, Removing and Replacing 40.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door and remove.
Replacing Speakers, Removal and Installation 41.1) Remove screws securing tweeter to door and remove.
How to Install Speakers, Removing and Replacing 42.1) Locate connectors to speakers, release trigger on connector to disconnect.
Replacing Speakers, Removal and Installation 43.1) During reinstallation of control panel with door lock mechanism, locate door lock pin at opening.
How to Install Speakers, Removing and Replacing 44.1) Align door lock pin to slot in door lock switch on control panel when installing. Check door lock and unlock manual operation before securing control panel to door.

IMPORTANT - There are two (2) yellow*, two (2) gray and two (2) brown wires in this harness. Locate the +12 volt constant wire first. Label it or splice to constant wire on aftermarket stereo first. Swapping yellow wires will cause damage to any aftermarket stereo. Check fuses if your unable to find +12 volts.
