Hyundai Elantra Stereo Removal and Replacement 1.1) Remove two screws along top edge of gauge panel.
1.2) Remove dash trim panel.
Hyundai Elantra Stereo Removal and Replacement 2.1) Remove ash tray and two exposed screws.
2.2) Pull dash trim forward releasing clips.
2.3) Disconnect dimmer switch on left side of dash, emergency flasher and clock from upper dash and cigarette lighter at bottom of panel.
Hyundai Elantra Stereo Removal and Replacement 3.1) Remove four screws securing car stereo and pocket to dash.
3.2) Pull car stereo forward, disconnect antenna and connector.
Hyundai Elantra Stereo Removal and Replacement NOTE - panel clips are located at "Blue Rectangles". Pry pressure on panel releases clips.

How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 1.1) Remove two screws at front of door panel.
Elantra Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 2.1) Remove one screw from door handle pull cavity and remove panel.
How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 3.1) Remove two screws from bottom of door panel.
Elantra Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 4.1) Remove two plastic screw covers under arm rest and remove two exposed screws.
How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 5.1) Remove two screw caps and remove two screws.
Elantra Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 6.1) Remove plastic panel, releasing three clips.
How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 7.1) Remove door panel by lifting away from door starting at bottom releasing two clips.
7.2) Lift door panel up out of window jam.
Elantra Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 8.1) Disconnect connectors, courtesy light, electric mirror control and window control panel. Set door panel to side.

Removing, Replacing and Installing Hyundai Speakers 1.1) Remove one bolt from between seats.
Removing, Replacing and Installing Hyundai Speakers 2.1) Remove one bolt from between seats.
Removing, Replacing and Installing Hyundai Speakers 3.1) Lift front edge of seat up releasing two clips, located at front edge in the middle of both seats.
Removing, Replacing and Installing Hyundai Speakers 4.1) Pry back edge of center brake light up releasing two clips.
4.2) Pull brake light assembly toward front of car, disconnect connector.
Removing, Replacing and Installing Hyundai Speakers 5.1) Pry plastic cover off, remove bolt. There are three of these across package shelf.
5.2) Remove two plastic clips along front edge of panel.
Removing, Replacing and Installing Hyundai Speakers 6.1) Remove bolts at bottom of side panels, lift side panels up and remove.
Removing, Replacing and Installing Hyundai Speakers 7.1) Lift rear panel up releasing four clips and pull toward front of car.

*NOTE - In most cases we have found the clips release from rear package shelf panel rather than frame or car.

Removing, Replacing and Installing Hyundai Speakers 8.1) Remove four screws securing each car speaker to rear deck.
8.2) Pull car speaker up and release connector.
