Hyundai Santa Fe Front Speaker Removal and Replacement
Hyundai Santa Fe Front Speaker Removal Instruction Guide 1.1) Roll window down. 1.2) Along back edge of door, gently pry center insert from surrounding clip. 2.1) Remove center insert and set to side. 3.1) Remove exposed screw and surrounding clip. 4.1) Repeat removal for second clip along back edge of door panel. 5.1) Repeat removal for clip along front top edge of door panel. 6.1) Remove one screw center of leading edge of door panel. 7.1) Remove one screw from hand hold cavity. 8.1) Gently pry small cover from door handle cavity. There are two clips holding this cover in place, one top, one bottom. Pry gently. 9.1) Remove small cover and set to side. 10.1) Remove exposed screw. 11.1) Pull on door handle, this will release trim cover. 12.1) Remove trim cover from door open handle and set to side. 13.1) Gently pry top edge of tweeter panel from door releasing clip. All clips release with pressure.. 14.1) Pull top edge of panel back then lift panel up to release lower clip. NOTE - The connector to disconnect may be wiggled out from behind lower door panel to disconnect tweeter. We were unable to remove connector to disconnect in this step. 15.1) Gently pry rear bottom corner of door panel from door releasing clips. 16.1) Work across bottom and up leading edge of door panel releasing clips. 17.1) Hold bottom of door panel away from door. 18.1) Check door open handle to be sure handle clears through door panel. 19.1) Lift rear edge of door panel up out of window jam. 20.1) Lift leading edge of door panel up out of window jam. 21.1) Release trigger on connector at tweeter panel to remove and set to side. 22.1) Pull top edge of door panel back for access to back of door panel. 22.2) Release trigger on connector to disconnect door lock and side mirror control panel. 23.1) At rear bottom of panel, release trigger on connector at courtesy light to disconnect. 34.1) Turn front edge of door panel up. 35.1) Turning panel up will allow access to trigger on connector from window control panel, 36.1) Remove door panel and set to side. 37.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips. 38.1) Gently pry door panel clips from door and remove. 39.1) Place door panel clips on door panel, slide clip into slot on door panel to lock in place. 40.1) Pull edge of foam back for access to screws securing speaker to door and remove speaker. Note - for determining aftermarket installation polarity of speaker wires (+ & -) for correct hook up see Speaker Phasing above.
