Hyundai Tiburon Remove and Replace Front Speaker Hyundai Tiburon Front Speaker and Tweeter Removal 1.1) At top front edge of door panel, remove one screw. 2.1) Check to be sure trim ring for screw is also removed. If not removed with screw, pry from door panel or you may loose this trim ring when removing door panel. 3.1) Remove lower screw and trim ring at lower front edge of door panel. 4.1) Remove screw from door open handle panel cavity. 5.1) At front edge of door handle, locate small pry opening. 6.1) Pry outside panel from door handle and remove. 7.1) Remove exposed screw at top of door open handle. 8.1) Remove exposed screw at bottom of door open handle. 9.1) Remove exposed screw at back of door open handle panel. 10.1) Lift back edge of door handle panel from door panel. 11.1) Release door handle panel over door open handle, remove and set panel to side. 12.1) Gently pry top edge of control panel from door releasing clip. All clips release with pressure. 13.1) Grasp top edge of control panel, pull back from door and up to release lower clip. 14.1) Remove control panel from door. 15.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect. Locate trigger at center of connector, squeeze trigger into connector to release and remove. 16.1) Release trigger on second connector to disconnect. Note - Driver's side control panel has two connectors, passenger's side control panel one connector. 17.1) Remove control panel and set to side. 18.1) At top front edge of tweeter door panel, gently pry top of panel from door releasing clips. 19.1) Pull top edge of panel from door, lift up to release lower clips and remove tweeter panel slightly from door. 20.1) Release trigger on tweeter connector to disconnect. 21.1) Remove tweeter and set to side, tweeter can be removed from panel. 22.1) Along back edge of door panel, gently pry center screw cover from surrounding frame. 23.1) Remove cover and set to side. 24.1) Remove exposed screw. 25.1) Remove surrounding ring with screw. 26.1) Gently pry screw cover from lower screw on back of door panel. 27.1) Remove exposed screw and surrounding ring. 28.1) Gently pry bottom rear edge of door panel from door releasing clips. 29.1) Work along bottom of door panel and up leading edge releasing all clips. 30.1) Swing bottom edge of door panel away from door, all clips should be released. 31.1) Lift back edge of door panel up out of window jam. 32.1) Lift front edge of door panel releasing entire panel from door. 33.1) Pull top edge of door panel back away from door for access to back of panel. 34.1) Locate connector at center of door panel. 35.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect. 36.1) At bottom rear edge of door panel, locate connector at courtesy light. 37.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect. 37.2) Remove door panel and set to side. 38.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips. 39.1) Gently pry door panel clips from door to remove. 40.1) Place panel clips back into slots on door panel ready for reinstallation. 41.1) Release trigger on connector at side of speaker to disconnect. 42.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door.
Hyundai Tiburon Rear Speaker and JBL Amp Removal Hyundai Tiburon Rear Infinity Speaker and JBL Amplifier Removal 1.1) Pull passenger side rear seat back half way down. 2.1) Look closely between crack at center of passenger seat, at bottom of upper seat back and lower cushion. Locate bolt. 3.1) Remove bolt. 4.1) Pull driver's side rear seat back half way down. 5.1) Locate bolt and remove. 6.1) At lower front edge of driver's side rear seat bottom cushion. locate unlock key. 7.1) Push key into seat and push up to release. 8.1) At lower front edge of passenger side rear seat bottom cushion. locate unlock key. 9.1) Push key into seat and push up to release. 10.1) Pull leading edge of rear seat bottom cushion up to release over seat belt latches at center of cushion. 11.1) Remove rear bottom seat cushion from back seat and set to side. 12.1) Driver's side lower door jam behind rear seat, locate panel pin. 13.1) Gently pry panel pin to release. 14.1) Remove panel pin and set to side. 15.1) Gently pry back edge of door jam trim panel up releasing clips. All clips release with pressure. 16.1) Pull rear seat back down. 16.2) Remove screw along back edge of side trim panel. 17.1) Open rear hatch, driver's side, remove one bolt along back edge of side pillar top trim panel. Note - this bolt is present if you have the rear subwoofer, driver's side only. If you do not have bolt, see step 17. 18.1) Unscrew side cargo netting secure point and remove. 19.1) Passenger side, gently pry panel pin from panel to remove. 20.1) Grasp outside edge of side pillar panel. 21.1) Pull side pillar panel from side of car to release and remove. 22.1) Starting at seam in side panel just behind front door, gently pry panel from side releasing clips. 23.1) Work your way down seam toward back of car releasing all clips. 24.1) Continue working down seam on side panel releasing clips. 25.1) Pull back edge of side panel away from side of car. 26.1) Along back edge of panel, you may have to push carpet toward back of car to allow side panel to clear. 27.1) Feed rear seat belt strap around to back of side panel. 28.1) Pull front edge of side panel away from car and feed front seat belt strap around to back of panel. 29.1) At door jam, slide bottom edge of side panel from under forward door jam panel released in earlier steps. 30.1) Release entire side panel, remove from car and set to side. 31.1) Release trigger on connector to release and disconnect. 32.1) Remove screws securing speaker and remove. 33.1) Remove one nut below driver's side speaker. 34.1) Remove second nut below driver's side speaker. 35.1) Remove one bolt. 36.1) Remove lower bolt. 37.1 Pull metal plate and JBL amplifier from side opening. 38.1) Release trigger on first connector to release and disconnect. 39.1) Release trigger on second connector to release and disconnect. 40.1) Remove JBL amplifier.
Hyundai Tiburon Subwoofer Removal and Replacement Hyundai Tiburon Rear Subwoofer Speaker Removal 1.1) Open rear hatch and remove spare tire cover from car and set to side. 2.1) Push rear seat back forward for clearance and remove spare tire cover frame. 3.1) At back edge of side pillar, remove one bolt. 4.1) Along back edge of car, remove one bolt. 5.1) Along rear floor of car, remove two bolts. 6.1) Pull subwoofer speaker and enclosure slightly from side of car. 7.1) Reach behind enclosure, release trigger on connector to release and disconnect.
