How to Remove Front Door Panel Bose Speaker Instructions NOTE - Roll window down! Our DIY removal instructions will help with the replacement. The speaker may be found at GMpartsdirect.com for $70 + S/H. Save money by not purchasing from the dealer$hip. If your Cadillac is ten years or older, this speaker is available directly from Bose Automotive for $40 + S/H. |

1) Remove one screw at rear bottom corner of door panel. | ||
1) Gently pry plastic cover
insert from door open handle cavity. 2) Remove exposed screw from cover removal. |
||
1) Gently pry rear of control panel from opening. | ||
1) Release connector trigger from control panel and set panel to side. | ||
1) From under door panel hand hold, lift part of panel up from door panel. | ||
1) Remove two exposed screws from lifting door panel insert. | ||
1) Gently pry bottom of door
panel from door. 2) Release all clips up each side of door panel starting at bottom. These clips require some pressure to release. |

1) Lift back of door panel up over door lock. | ||
NOTE - With window down!
1) Pull door panel away from door allowing access to back of door panel. |
||
1) Release yellow retaining clip for door lock assembly by turning away from cable. | ||
1) Pull end of door lock cable from pin socket. | ||
1) Gently pry trigger away from door panel at back of white cable locking clip. | ||
1) Push cable locking clip toward back of door panel to release door lock cable. | ||
1) Disconnect door panel cable
by releasing trigger on connector. 2) Remove door panel. |

1) Remove speaker leads from face of Bose subwoofer speaker. | ||
1) Release trigger on connector at side of Bose subwoofer speaker. | ||
1) Remove four screws securing Bose subwoofer to door panel. | ||
