		Adjusting treble/bass slide controls can cause speakers to go in and out with static.

		This is a simple DIY Repair. Radio Shack sells a "Control Cleaner" with lubricant. Push slide controls down. Spray into top of slide control opening and move slide control up and down to clean and lubricate.
