Corvette Bose Car Stereo How to Remove and Install Instructions Including Bose Audio Relay Removal |

1) Remove two screws along bottom edge of
front car stereo trim panel. (In some instances, there are also two along the top of this panel.) |

1) Remove two screws to right of panel. 2) Remove one screw on left upper side of trim panel. |
||
1) Remove all screws along trim panel across gauges. | ||
1) Pull panel across gauges forward, pull
right side of car stereo trim panel away from dash. 2) Center car stereo trim panel will hinge loose from behind gauges trim panel and remove center car stereo trim panel. |

1) Remove screws securing car stereo to
dash. 2) Pull car stereo forward, disconnect antenna and connectors. If you have

Bose Audio Relay 1) Before checking for defective Bose Audio Relay, check pink wire on back of car stereo for +12 volts when car stereo is turned on. No +12 volts this is a stereo problem. If +12 is present and all fuses have been checked, this is a Bose Audio Relay defect. |

1) In this picture, I am pointing to Bose
Audio Relay. 2) Remove screws securing AC control panel, pull panel forward from cavity. Caution! Left side of panel is connected. *NOTE - this relay may be in another location, higher and further back in the dash. |

1) In this picture, my fingers are on two screws securing Bose Audio Relay to dash. Yes! This is a fun removal. | ||
1) There is a trigger at the bottom of this
relay that needs to be released away from relay to disconnect. 2)With 90 degree screw driver remove two bolts securing Bose Audio Relay. |

1) Bose Audio Relay removed! *NOTE - I removed the lower panel on the passenger side and pulled the relay socket down. I tucked the relay and socket into dash, I could not get the Bose Audio Relay mounted back into it's original position. If you have
