WE REPAIR FACTORY FIAT RADIOS I'm assuming you are in the US, where Fiats have not been sold for 15 years. I have no info on original stereo makes and model numbers, and I imagine all these have been removed at some time or another. On Fiat Spiders ('70-'84) you remove the radio by removing the radio console which is held onto the center console by 4 screws. The whole console slides forward. Later model Spiders ('79-'84) have 4" speaker holes pre-drilled into the space above the map pockets, by the feet. Early spiders had a single hole for a 4x6 speaker just under the radio.
On early Fiat X1/9s (pre-'79), an adapter is needed to make
enough space for a radio to fit. This adapter looks like a half open box. On
later models the radio slides out, a DIN tool may be needed. The later models
also have precut 4x6 speaker holes just behind the seats, under the rear
window.
Hope this helps -- Erwin
