              How to Remove Front Door Panel Speaker | 
          
            |  | 1.1) Roll window down! 1.2)Remove one screw at back top edge of door panel.
 | 
          
            |  | 2.1) Remove one screw at front 
              top edge of door panel. | 
          
            |  | 3.1) From under arm rest, inside 
              back of door handle opening, remove one screw. | 
          
            |  | 4.1) Gently pry down on lower 
              plastic insert. | 
          
            |  | 5.1) Work plastic insert down 
              out of door handle area. | 
          
            |  | 6.1) Remove plastic insert and 
              set to side. | 
          
            |  | 7.1) Remove two screw exposed 
              from removing plastic insert. | 
          
            |  | 8.1) Grasp door handle tightly, 
              lift entire door panel straight up. | 
          
            |  | 9.1) Lift door panel up over 
              door lock and slightly away from door. | 
          
            |  | 10.1) With window down, move 
              around to outside of door for access to back of door panel. You may need 
              help here. 10.2) Follow door open cable up to door panel.

            |  | 11.1) Mark small metal clip 
              before removing. It can be installed two different ways, one is correct. 11.2) Use small flat head screw driver, pry small metal clip from lock down 
              area on cable.
 | 
          
            |  | 12.1) Pull white plastic fitting 
              from press fitting on door panel. | 
          
            |  | 13.1) Twist end of cable to 
              release hook from door open handle assembly. | 
          
            |  | 14.1) Wiggle connector at door 
              window switch to release. | 
          
            |  | 15.1) Release connector, check to 
              see if entire switch was pulled through panel. This scenario will be 
              addressed in a later step. | 
          
            |  | 16.1) Lift lower flap on back of 
              door panel for access to remaining connectors. | 
          
            |  | 17.1) Release remaining 
              connectors to disconnect. 17.2) Remove door panel to work area. Do not place directly on ground, this 
              will scratch door panel.
 | 
          
            |  | 18.1) Gently pull corner of foam 
              lining over hooks on door panel. | 
          
            |  | 19.1) Fold foam lining back for 
              access to speaker. | 
          
            |  | 20.1) Remove two speaker leads at 
              speaker. | 
          
            |  | 21.1) Remove three screws 
              securing speaker assembly to door panel. 21.2) Remove speaker assembly from door panel.
 | 
          
            |  | 22.1) Remove rubber ring from 
              front of speaker assembly. | 
          
            |  | 23.1) Remove screws securing 
              speaker to assembly and remove speaker. | 
          
            |  | 24.1) For tweeter removal, remove 
              one screw. 24.2) Tweeter and door handle assembly will hinge out of door panel.
 24.3) Remove clip securing tweeter to handle assembly and remove tweeter.

            |  | Note - If entire window switch 
              is removed when attempting to remove connector, snap switch back into 
              place in panel before reinstallation of panel. | 
          
            |  | Note - When reinstalling door 
              panel, door panel hooks must mate to opening in door and door lock must be 
              feed through opening in top edge of door panel. |
