Buick Electra / La Sabre Estate Wagon / Park Ave Car Stereo Removal and Installation 1.1) Unsnap bezel trim from around climate control. 2.1) Remove (4) star-drive (Torx) screws exposed. 3.1) Pull the rubber steering collar back and carefully unsnap the left side dash trim bezel. 4.1) Pull trim bezel toward drivers side of car releasing two tongues from slots on right side of trim panel. 5.1) Remove screws securing car stereo to dash. 6.1) Pull car stereo forward from cavity. 7.1) Disconnect antenna, release triggers on connectors and remove car stereo.

Buick Electra Front Speaker Removal and Installation Buick Electra Front Door Panel How to Remove and Replace Note - Control panels are "HOT", +12 volts. Remove one main car battery terminal from battery for safety. 1.1) Remove screw from door open handle cavity. 2.1) Pry edge of panel from door panel. 3.1) Pull door open handle to release panel from from door panel. 4.1) At connector on back of panel, lift trigger on connector with small flat head screwdriver. 5.1) Release connector. 6.1) Remove panel and set to side. 7.1) Pry front edge of arm rest control panel from arm rest releasing clip. All clips release with pry pressure. 8.1) Lift front edge of control panel. 9.1) Pull control panel forward to release tongue from back of opening. 10.1) Remove control panel for access to connectors. 11.1) Driver's side control panel will have more connectors than passenger's side control panel. 12.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect. 13.1) Release triggers on sides of connector. 14.1) Pry around edges of connector to disconnect and remove. 15.1) Release trigger one side of next connector. 16.1) Release trigger on opposite side of connnector. 17.1) Pry connector from control panel to remove. 18.1) Release trigger on remaining connector to disconnect and remove. 19.1) Remove control panel and set to side. 20.1) Remove exposed screw at back of control panel cavity. 21.1) Remove exposed screw at front of control panel cavity. 22.1) Pry reflector from back edge of door panel. 23.1) Remove first exposed screw from reflector cavity. 24.1) Remove second exposed screw from reflector cavity. 25.1) Pry back bottom edge of door panel from door releasing clips. 26.1) Pry up back edge of door panel releasing clips. 27.1) Pry along bottom edge of door panel releasing clips. 28.1) Pry up along front edge of door panel. 29.1) Lift door panel up out of window jam to remove. 30.1) Feed control panel connectors through openings in arm rest. 31.1) Pull top edge of door panel forward for access to back of panel. 32.1) Locate connector at back of control panel top forward corner of door panel. 33.1) Release trigger on side of connector to disconnect and remove. 34.1) Locate courtesy light on back of door panel, follow wires from light to connector. 35.1) Lift trigger on side of connector to release and disconnect, remove door panel and set to side. 36.1) Locate any remaining door panel clips on door. 37.1) Pry clips from door to remove. 38.1) Place clips into corresponding openings on door panel ready for reinstallation. 39.1) Clips along bottom of door panel also hold weather stripping material in place. 40.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door and remove. 41.1) Remove screws securing tweeter to door and remove. 42.1) Locate connectors to speakers, release trigger on connector to disconnect. 43.1) During reinstallation of control panel with door lock mechanism, locate door lock pin at opening. 44.1) Align door lock pin to slot in door lock switch on control panel when installing. Check door lock and unlock manual operation before securing control panel to door.
