Cadillac SLS and STS Removal and Replacement
1) Gently pry small trim panel above car stereo away from dash, remove two exposed screws. 2) Remove gear shift knob by pulling straight up, some pressure will be needed. 3) Remove trim panel around gear shift by starting at back edge near center arm rest and remove along with drink holder tray, remove two exposed screws. 4) Pull A/C controls and car stereo forward releasing all connectors. Separate car stereo from bracket and send for repair.

Cadillac SLS and STS Front Bose Removal and Install How to Remove Front Door Panel Bose Speaker 1.1) Roll window down! 2.1) Remove one screw at rear bottom corner of door panel. 3.1) Gently pry plastic cover insert from door open handle cavity. 3.2) Remove exposed screw from cover removal. 4.1) Gently pry rear of control panel from opening. 5.1) Release connector trigger from control panel and set panel to side. 6.1) From under door panel hand hold, lift part of panel up from door panel. 7.1) Remove two exposed screws from lifting door panel insert. 8.1) Gently pry bottom of door panel from door. 8.2) Release all clips up each side of door panel starting at bottom. These clips require some pressure to release. 9.1) Lift back of door panel up over door lock. NOTE - With window down! 10.1) Pull door panel away from door allowing access to back of door panel. 11.1) Release yellow retaining clip for door lock assembly by turning away from cable. 12.1) Pull end of door lock cable from pin socket. 13.1) Gently pry trigger away from door panel at back of white cable locking clip. 14.1) Push cable locking clip toward back of door panel to release door lock cable. 15.1) Disconnect door panel cable by releasing trigger on connector. 15.2) Remove door panel. 16.1) Remove speaker leads from face of Bose subwoofer speaker. 17.1) Release trigger on connector at side of Bose subwoofer speaker. 18.1) Remove four screws securing Bose subwoofer to door panel.
