Chevrolet Camaro Rear Bose Amplifier Removal and Repair
1.1) Gently pull plastic trim
from rear deck.
2.1) Two clips will release with
pressure when panel is removed.
3.1) Repeat for opposite small
plastic trim.
4.1) Remove all exposed screws.
5.1) Remove speaker grill cover.
6.1) Lift rear deck up, while
still in car.
6.2) Release trigger on connector to disconnect.
7.1) Slide connector to side,
the connector will release from panel.
8.1) Remove four screws securing
speaker.
9.1) Lift speaker from deck.
10.1) Remove speaker and Bose
amplifier.
11.1) Feed released connector
through opening to remove.
Chevrolet Camaro Car Stereo Removal and Install
1) Remove four torx screws from the dash trim bezel and remove bezel.
2) Remove four screws securing factory car stereo.
3) Pull car stereo forward, disconnect antenna and connectors.

1978 - 1992
IMPORTANT - There are two (2) yellow*, two (2) gray and two (2)
brown wires in this harness. Locate the +12 volt constant wire first.
Label it or splice to constant wire on aftermarket stereo first. Swapping
yellow wires will cause damage to any aftermarket stereo. Check fuses if your unable to find +12 volts.
