Metro Car Stereo and Front Speaker Removal and Install
Chevrolet Metro Car Stereo How to Remove and Replace 1.1) Remove ash tray. 1.2) Remove two exposed screws from ash tray cavity. 2.1) Remove two screws above car stereo in trim panel. 2.2) Remove trim panel from around car stereo. 2.3) Disconnect lighter connector. 3.1) Remove one screw below car stereo in center of bracket in ash tray cavity. 4.1) Remove four screws securing car stereo to dash. 4.2) Pull car stereo forward, disconnect antenna and connector.

Metro Front Speaker Removal and Installation Chevrolet Metro How to Remove and Install Front Speakers 1.1) Remove two plastic screw covers from door pull handle and removed exposed screws. 1.2) Remove one screw from door open handle cavity and remove trim ring. 2.1) Remove window crank locking clip and remove crank. 3.1) Remove door panel by starting at door panel releasing clips. 4.1) Disconnect connector to door panel. 5.1) Remove four screws securing car speaker to door panel.

Locate the +12 volt constant wire first. Label it or splice to constant wire on aftermarket stereo first. Swapping yellow wires will cause damage to any aftermarket stereo.
