Chevrolet Tracker Door Speaker Removal and Install Chevrolet Tracker How to Remove and Replace Front Door Speakers 1.1) ROLL WINDOW DOWN. 1.2) Remove screw from arm rest cavity. 2.1) Remove screw from door handle trim plate. 3.1) Push trim plate forward to release securing hook. 4.1) Pull trim panel from door, look for lock on door open linkage. 5.1) Twist small plastic lock to side. 6.1) Release hook from door open linkage up out of opening. 6.2) Set trim plate to side. 7.1) Gently grasp edge of small panel at top of door panel. 8.1) Pry small panel at top of door panel releasing clips. Clips release with pressure. 9.1) Check door for any remaining panel clips. 10.1) Gently pry panel clips from door. 11.1) Slide panel clips back onto small panel, ready for reinstallation. 12.1) With pry tool, gently push under top edge of control panel. 13.1) Push pry tool under panel to release clip and pry up leading edge of control panel. 14.1) Clip on leading edge of panel releases with pressure. 15.1) Lift leading edge of control panel up then forward to release rear clip. 16.1) Release triggers on connectors to disconnect. 17.1) Gently pry back bottom edge of door panel from door releasing clips. 18.1) Work your way across bottom of door panel then up both sides releasing clips. 19.1) Lift back edge of door panel up out of window jam, over door lock. 19.2) Remove leading edge of door panel from window jam. Set panel to side. 20.1) Check door for any remaining panel clips. 21.1) Gently pry panel clips from door. 22.1) Slide panel clips back onto door panel, ready for reinstallation. 23.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door.
Chevrolet Tracker Rear Speaker Removal and Install Chevrolet Tracker How to Remove and Replace Rear Speakers 1.1) Open rear door. 1.2) Along bottom of door jam, gently pry plastic cover from tie down. 2.1) Pull plastic cover toward back of car to release and remove. 3.1) Remove bolt from tie down. 4.1) Repeat removal for remaining two tie downs. 5.1) Gently pry panel from vehicle releasing clips. All clips release with pressure. 6.1) Open rear door. 6.2) Along inside of bottom door jam, turn plastic screw 1/4 turn. This should release center screw. In some cases, you may have to hold the outside frame to keep from twisting while attempting to release screw. 7.1) Grasp plastic screw and frame. 8.1) Pull plastic screw and frame from panel. 9.1) To reinstall screw and frame, remove screw from frame, place frame back into opening, push screw flush with frame to secure. 10.1) Repeat removal for second screw and frame along door jam. 11.1) Repeat removal for third screw and frame going up back of door jam. 12.1) Gently pry door jam panel from vehicle releasing clips. 13.1) Unlatch door jam panel from rear side panel. Set panel to side. 14.1) Along back edge of side panel from back door opening, gently pry top edge of panel from vehicle releasing clips. 15.1) Along back edge of side panel from back door opening, gently pry bottom edge of panel from vehicle releasing clips. 16.1) Work your way across top of side panel releasing all clips. 17.1) Lift back edge of side panel up, this will release leading edge from back door jam. 18.1) Lift front edge of side panel up to release. 19.1) Pull side panel back, feed side seat belt around panel to release, remove panel and set to side. 20.1) Check side of vehicle to see if all panel pins removed with door panel. 21.1) Pry panel pins from side of vehicle. 22.1) Install panel pins onto door panel, ready for installation. 23.1) Remove screws securing speaker and remove.

Label it or splice to constant wire on aftermarket stereo first. Swapping yellow wires will cause damage to any aftermarket stereo. Check fuses if your unable to find +12 volts.     1988 - 2005 IMPORTANT - There are two (2) yellow*, two (2) gray and two (2) brown wires in this harness. Locate the +12 volt constant wire first. Label it or splice to constant wire on aftermarket stereo first. Swapping yellow wires will cause damage to any aftermarket stereo.
