1.1) Remove ash tray. 1.2) Remove trim panel from stereo and climate controls, releasing four clips. |

2.1) Remove two 10mm bolts. 2.2) Remove car stereo from dash, remove antenna, two connectors an usually a 10mm bolt securing ground to stereo. |

Neon Front Door Panel Speaker Removal and Installation |

1.1) Remove one torx screw from cavity behind door open handle. | |
2.1) Remove screw in side arm rest pocket. | |
3.1) Remove clip from window crank. There are several ways to attempt this, the correct window crank clip tool, a pick tool, and sometimes a shop rag pulled back and forth behind the crank will pop the clip. Once removed place the clip immediately on the crank so it is not lost. The crank will pop on during reinstallation. |

4.1) Pull door panel from door releasing
clips. 4.2) Push plastic clip on door open linkage to release. |

5.1) Lift linkage up out of slot and remove
door panel. 5.2) Original speaker is 6 3/4", an adaptor plate may be needed for replacement of speaker and proper installation. |
