Town & Country / Dodge Caravan / Plymouth Voyager How to Remove Front Dash Speaker How to Front Dash Speaker Removal and Replacement 1.1) Pull on top edge of side panel. 2.1) Work your way down the panel releasing all clips. 3.1) Lean panel toward center of car, lift rear bottom edge of panel up from behind lower panel. 4.1) Pull panel away from front of car releasing front edge. 5.1) Check for any clips not removed with panel. Use pliers to remove. 6.1) Place clips back onto panel, ready for reinstallation. 7.1) Repeat panel removal for left side of car. 8.1) Check for remaining clips and remove. Place clips onto removed panel. 9.1) Gently pry leading edge of front dash panel from corner. 10.1) Work you way across dash edge releasing all clips. 11.1) Above dash gauges, reach under panel to find wires and connector. 12.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect. Be sure to plug this connector back in when reinstalling dash panel. 13.1) With panel clips released across dash and connector removed, pull entire panel toward back seat. 13.2) Remove panel and set to side. 14.1) Remove screws securing front right speaker to dash. 15.1) Remove screws securing front left speaker to dash. 16.1) Before reinstalling top dash panel, check to see location of hooks along edge of panel. 17.1) The above hooks slide into a slots along the bottom of the windshield. 18.1) The side panel bottom edge has to be watched closely. It goes behind the lower panel.
How to Remove and Replace Front Door Speakers Removing and Installing Front Door Speaker 1.1) Roll window down. 1.2) Along top of door panel at control panel, pry small cover from panel. 2.1) Remove cover and set to side. 3.1) Remove exposed screw. 4.1) On same panel, remove screw forward on control panel. 5.1) Grasp control panel. 6.1) Remove control panel from door panel. 7.1) Lift trigger on edge of connector to release and remove. 8.1) Squeeze trigger on connector into connector to release and remove. 9.1) Remove control panel and set to side. 10.1) Remove exposed screw at control panel cavity. 11.1) At hand hold on arm rest remove screw. 12.1) Pry edge of trim panel at door lock to release clip. 13.1) Push top edge of trim panel away from door panel. 14.1) Pull panel up. 15.1) Push top edge of trim panel back to release tab at bottom of panel from behind door panel. 16.1) Remove trim panel and set to side. 17.1) Remove hidden screw along bottom center edge of door panel. Note - this screw opening is hidden by carpet on door panel. 18.1) Remove hidden screw along bottom front edge of door panel. 19.1) Pry back bottom edge of door panel from door releasing clips. All clips release with pry pressure. 20.1) Pry along bottom edge of door panel releasing all clips. 20.2) Pry up front and back edges of door panel releasing all clips. 21.1) Pull bottom edge of door panel away from door verifying all clips have been released. 22.1) Lift back edge of door panel up out of window jam over door lock linkage. 23.1) Lift front edge of door panel up out of window jam. 23.2) Pull top edge of door panel back for access to back of panel. 24.1) Locate courtesy light connector toward back of door panel. 25.1) Release trigger on connector. 26.1) Disconnect and remove connector. 27.1) Locate door handle linkage. 28.1) Swing linkage lock to side to release. 29.1) Lift end of linkage from slot to release. 29.2) Remove door panel and set to side. 30.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips. 31.1) Pry clips from door to remove. 32.1) Place door panel clips into slots on door panel ready for reinstallation. 33.1) Pull insulation on door panel back at speaker. 34.1) Remove one screw at side of speaker. 35.1) Loosen two opposite screws. 36.1) Grasp edge of speaker and slide away from loose screws to remove mounting screws from slots. 37.1) Remove speaker from door. 38.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect and remove speaker
Town & Country / Dodge Caravan / Plymouth Voyager How to Remove and Install Rear Side Speaker Removing and Replacing Rear Side Speakers 1.1) Gently force fingers in opening behind top of panel and side window weather stripping. 2.1) Pull side panel from van. 3.1) Work your way across top edge of panel releasing clips. 4.1) Pull side panel forward releasing front hooks. 5.1) Check side panel for any clips not removed with panel. 5.2) Use pliers to remove clips from side panel and place back onto removed panel ready for reinstallation. (See Guide Pin below) 6.1) When reinstalling side panel, push front edge of panel back behind weather stripping. 7.1) Repeat process for opposite side of car. 8.1) When reinstalling side panel, be sure Guide Pin from panel mates to opening before snapping panel back into place. 9.1) Remove screws securing speaker to side of vehicle.
