PASSENGER SIDE REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL
Replacement and Installation
(Drivers rear side speaker removal below) |
|
1.1) Open rear hatch, at top of
rear opening, gently pry panel from roof of car. |
|
2.1) Release all panel clips
along panel and remove. |
|
3.1) On passenger side rear
pillar, gently pull side of panel from pillar releasing clips. Pull inside
edge of panel toward front of car to release clips. |
|
4.1) At bottom of hatch opening,
gently pull trim panel up releasing clips. |
|
5.1) Release all clips on panel
and remove panel. |
|
6.1) From rear passenger door,
gently pull trim panel up releasing clips. |
|
7.1) Move rear seat forward,
gently release side of panel. This will need to be loose so side panel can
be removed in a later step. |
|
8.1) Lift cover on seat belt
mount. |
|
9.1) Remove T50 Torx screw. |
|
10.1) Remove seat belt assembly
for side of vehicle. |
|
11.1) Pull up carpet along side
of panel. |
|
12.1) Above seat belt mount. Pull
top of side panel from side releasing clips. |
|
13.1) Push side of panel back to
release side hook from lower side panel and remove panel. |
|
14.1) With above panel removed,
pull remaining side panel from side of car releasing clips. |
|
15.1) Release all clips along
panel, lean top of panel away from side of car for access to speaker. |
|
16.1) Remove four screws securing
5x7 inch speaker to side of car.

DRIVERS SIDE REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL
Replace and Install
(Passenger rear side speaker removal above) |

1.1) Unzip cover to spare tire. |
|
2.1) Remove center lock down
screw to spare tire. |
|
3.1) Release hook and remove
spare tire and cover from car. |
|
4.1) Remove three screws exposed
by spare tire removal. |
|
5.1) Lift cover on seat belt
mount. |
|
6.1) Remove T50 Torx screw. |
|
7.1) Remove seat belt assembly
for side of vehicle. |
|
8.1) Above seat belt mount. Pull
top of side panel from side releasing clips. |
|
9.1) Push side of panel back to
release side hook from lower side panel and remove panel. |
|
10.1) From rear passenger door,
gently pull trim panel up releasing clips. |
|
11.1) Pull up carpet along side
of panel. |
|
12.1) Move rear seat forward,
gently release side of panel. This will need to be loose so side panel can
be removed in a later step. |
|
13.1) With above panel removed,
pull remaining side panel from side of car releasing clips. |
|
14.1) Release all clips along
panel, lean top of panel away from side of car for access to speaker. |
|
15.1) Remove four screws securing
5x7 inch speaker to side of car.
