Ford Expedition - Car Stereo Removal and Replacement Ford Expedition How to Remove and Replace Car Stereo (Manual AC Control) 1.1) Remove two screws from above gauges. 2.1) Gently pull dash trim panel from dash. 3.1) Release connectors from climate control area on dash panel. 4.1) Left side of panel is tricky when removing from dash because of AC vent housing. 4.2) Tilt right side of dash panel up for access. 5.1) Remove two bottom screws securing car stereo to dash. 5.2) Pull car stereo forward from dash. 6.1) Disconnect antenna and release triggers on connectors to release. 6.2) Remove car stereo.
Ford Expedition - How to Remove and Replace Front Speaker\ Ford Expedition Front Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 1.1) Remove top edge of triangular panel above door panel by releasing clip. 2.1) Pull panel up, releasing two clips into door panel. 3.1) Remove exposed screw. 4.1) Pry front edge of control panel up releasing clip, pull up releasing rear tongue clip. 4.2) Disconnect connectors. 5.1) Remove exposed screw in control panel cavity. 6.1) Pry cover off courtesy light. 7.1) Remove exposed screw. 8.1) Pry trim ring from around door open handle and feed trim ring into door panel. 9.1) Lift door panel straight up, releasing hooks securing door panel. 9.2) Push door panel forward to feed door open handle through opening. 9.3) Disconnect courtesy light connector. 10.1) Remove four screws securing 5" x 7" speaker to door. 10.2) Disconnect connector and remove speaker.
Ford Expedition - How to Remove and Replace Rear Speaker Ford Expedition Rear Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 1.1) Pry front edge of control panel up releasing clip, pull up releasing rear tongue clip. 1.2) Disconnect connector. 2.1) Pry trim ring from around door open handle and feed trim ring into door panel. 3.1) Remove two screws along bottom edge of door panel. 4.1) Lift door panel straight up, releasing hooks securing door panel. 4.2) Push door panel forward to feed door open handle through opening. 4.3) Remove four screws securing 5" x 7" speaker to door, disconnect connector.
Ford Expedition Rear Subwoofer, Amp and Speaker Removal Ford Expedition How to Remove and Replace Rear Subwoofer Enclosure with Amplifier and Speaker 1.1) Remove bottom panel along floor of Ford Expedition by lifting up this will release clips, set panel to side. 2.1) Remove top panel along floor of Ford Expedition by pulling down at rear edge, this will release clips and set panel to side. 3.1) Lift cover on rear seat belt exposing T50 Torx bolt and remove. 4.1) Pull side panel from vehicle releasing clips and set panel to side. 5.1) From rear passenger door, lift panel releasing clips and set to side. 6.1) Lift cover on rear seat belt exposing nut and remove. 7.1) Pull side panel from vehicle releasing clips and set panel to side. 8.1) Lift cover on seat belt exposing T50 Torx bolt and remove. 9.1) Release rear passenger seat and push forward. 9.2) Lift panel releasing first two or three clips without removing panel. 10.1) Pull weather striping from door jam up side of vehicle. 11.1) At back of vehicle, release rear seat belt mounting. Push center of anchor down about 1/4 inch, this releases anchor hold and will allow you to pry from opening. 11.2) Remove bolt from same area. 12.1) Unscrew cargo net holders from side of vehicle. 13.1) Lift edge of carpet to expose one screw along bottom of side panel. 14.1) Release side panel from vehicle toward middle of car. 14.2) This panel will pull back allowing access to subwoofer enclosure. 15.1) Disconnect connector at left side of amplifier. 15.2) Remove bolts securing subwoofer enclosure to side of vehicle.
