Ford Expedition - Car Stereo Removal and Replacement Ford Expedition How to Remove and Replace Car Stereo (Manual AC Controls) 1.1) Remove two screws from above gauges. 2.1) Gently pull dash trim panel from dash. 3.1) Release connectors from climate control area on dash panel. 4.1) Left side of panel is tricky when removing from dash because of AC vent housing. 4.2) Tilt right side of dash panel up for access. 5.1) Remove two bottom screws securing car stereo to dash. 5.2) Pull car stereo forward from dash. 6.1) Disconnect antenna and release triggers on connectors to release. 6.2) Remove car stereo.
Ford Expedition - How to Remove and Replace Front Speaker Ford Expedition Front Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 1.1) Under arm rest, gently pry small panel from door panel releasing clips. All clips release with pressure. 2.1) Remove one exposed screw on left. 3.1) Remove one exposed screw on right. 4.1) Bottom of door panel, remove one front screw. 5.1) Bottom of door panel, remove one rear screw. 6.1) Gently pry trim panel from around door handle releasing clips. 7.1) Remove trim panel and set to side. 8.1) Top back edge of door panel, remove one screw. 9.1) At top of door panel, gently pry edge of door panel from door releasing clip. 10.1) Grasp arm rest door handle, pull top front edge of door panel from previous step away from door. 10.2) Pull entire door panel straight up out of window jam and over door lock releasing all door panel hooks from door. 11.1) With door panel released from door, pull top edge of door panel back for access to back of panel. 12.1) Release trigger on connector at control panel to release. 13.1) Release trigger on second connector at control panel to release. 14.1) Remove screws securing 5 x 7 inch speaker to door panel. 15.1) Remove speaker from door panel. 16.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect. NOTE - for determining aftermarket installation polarity of speaker wires for correct hook up see Speaker Phasing above.
Ford Expedition How to Remove and Replace Rear Speaker Ford Expedition Rear Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 1.1) Gently pry trim panel from around door handle releasing clips. All clips release with pressure. 2.1) Remove trim panel and set to side. 3.1) Top back edge of door panel, remove one screw. 4.1) Bottom of door panel, remove one front screw. 5.1) Bottom of door panel, remove one rear screw. 6.1) Under arm rest, gently pry small panel from door panel releasing clips. 7.1) Remove panel and set to side. 8.1) Remove one exposed screw on right. 9.1) Remove one exposed screw on left. 10.1) Grasp arm rest door handle. 10.2) Pull entire door panel straight up out of window jam and over door lock releasing all door panel hooks from door. 11.1) With door panel released from door, pull top edge of door panel back for access to back of panel. 12.1) Locate connector at control panel. 13.1) Release trigger on connector at control panel to release. 14.1) Remove screws securing 5 x 7 inch speaker to door panel. 14.2) Remove speaker from door panel. 14.3) Release trigger on connector to disconnect.
