	"Din Tools" Din Tools can be purchased at a local Auto Parts Store. They are Ford Car Stereo removal tools. Stereo Removal Tools
	1.1) Insert "Din Tools" into slots till they lock into sides of car stereo.
	2.1) Pull car stereo from dash.
	3.1) Remove antenna and release triggers on connectors to disconnect.

With aftermarket stereo installation?

Ford Explorer Sport Stereo Removal and Installation
	Installation of Aftermarket Car Radio We use Metra Kit 99-5802 Wire Harness 70-1771 (There are other manufacturers of Installation Kits and Wire Harnesses)
	1.1) Twist plastic mounting from center of kit. 1.2) Cut excess pieces left on kit.
	2.1) Mount plastic mounting to back of pocket and secure with two provided screws.
	3.1) This kit is used for single din style stereo mounting. 3.2) Remove mounting sleeve from stereo or box, this is part of the car radio you purchased.
	4.1) Insert car radio's sleeve into opening on kit.
	5.1) With flat head screw driver, twist/bend mounting slots on sleeve to secure sleeve to kit.
	See Ford Wire Harness and Aftermarket Wire Color Codes above. 6.1) Splice wire harnesses - wire color codes match.
	7.1) Remove bottom ears from corners of kit.
	8.1) This is the rear support for the stereo you are installing.
	9.1) Slide rear support along plastic mount, secured to pocket on above steps. 9.2) Mate screw opening on car stereo to opening on support. There should be a screw supplied with the purchase of the car stereo for this.
	10.1) Mate Metra wire harness to factory wire harness. 10.2) Feed wire harness back into dash. 10.3) Connect antenna to new car radio.
	11.1) Snap kit with car radio into place. On rare occasions when kit will not snap into place. Remove two screws along bottom of trim panel. Remove trim panel. This will allow for better leverage for snapping kit into place.

How to Remove and Install Speakers

1.1) Remove two screws from above door open handle.

2.1) Remove screws along bottom of door panel.

3.1) Gently pry panel from door handle cavity and remove.

4.1) Gently lift control panel from arm rest area.

5.1) Release triggers on connectors and set control panel to side.

6.1) Starting at bottom of door panel, gently pry panel from door and work your way up both sides releasing panel clips.

7.1) Release trigger on one extra connector to door panel.

8.1) Remove four screws securing factory 5" X 7" two way speaker to door.

9.1) Before re-installation, check door for panel clips.

10.1) Pry panel clips from door.

11.1) Re-install on door panel.

1.1) Remove two screws from above door open handle.

3.1) Gently pry panel from door handle cavity and remove.

9.1) Pry panel clips from door.

10.1) Re-install on door panel.
