How to Remove and Install Rear Speaker
4 Door with 4 outside door handles
(4 Door with 2 outside door handles, above.)* |

 |
1.1) Gently pry top of small
panel insert from door handle cavity to release. |
| |
|
 |
2.1) Remove small panel insert
and set to side. |
| |
|
 |
3.1) Remove one exposed bolt
from panel insert removal. |
| |
|
 |
4.1) Remove second exposed bolt
from panel insert removal. |
| |
|
 |
5.1) Gently pry leading edge of
larger insert panel from door handle cavity. |
| |
|
 |
6.1) Release leading edge clips
on panel. All clips release with pressure. |
| |
|
 |
7.1) Grasp door handle assemble,
pull toward front of door panel to release pin on back of assembly from
door panel. |
| |
|
 |
8.1) At back edge of door handle
assembly, locate small metal spring securing door handle cable to
assembly. |
| |
|
 |
9.1) With "Pick Tool" or small
screw driver, gently pry edge of spring to release from door handle
assembly. |
| |
|
 |
10.1) Remove door spring from
door handle assembly and set to side. |
| |
|
 |
11.1) Door handle cable is locked
into door handle assembly. Push cable away from assembly to unlock and
release from assembly.
NOTE - When reinstalling door handle cable into door
handle assembly, this cable will click into place so spring may be
reinstalled. |

12.1) With cable released from
back of door handle assembly, turn door handle assembly to side along with
pushing end of cable wire to release end of cable from door handle
assembly. |

 |
13.1) Release door handle
assembly and set to side. |
| |
|
 |
14.1) Along top back edge of door
panel, gently pry long narrow panel from door releasing clips. All clips
release with pressure. |
| |
|
 |
15.1) Release two clips, remove
panel and set to side. |
| |
|
 |
16.1) Remove one exposed screw at
top rear of door panel exposed from long narrow panel removal. |
| |
|
 |
17.1) At bottom front edge of
door panel, remove one screw. |
| |
|
 |
18.1) At bottom rear edge of door
panel, remove second screw. |
| |
|
 |
19.1) Gently pry side edge of
control panel on arm rest up releasing clips. |
| |
|
 |
20.1) Pull control panel on arm
rest away from door releasing hooks along back edge of panel. |
| |
|
 |
21.1) Turn control panel over,
release trigger on connector to disconnect. |
| |
|
 |
22.1) Remove panel and set to
side. |
| |
|
 |
23.1) Remove one exposed screw
from control panel cavity on door. |
| |
|
 |
24.1) Grasp arm rest on door
panel. |
| |
|
 |
25.1) Pull entire door panel
straight up to release hooks. |
| |
|
 |
26.1) When reinstalling door
panel, hooks on door panel must mate to opening on door, push door panel
down to lock into place. |
| |
|
 |
27.1) Remove four screws securing
speaker to door panel. Release trigger on connector to disconnect.

NOTE - When reinstalling door
panel, be sure door lock pin mates to opening in door panel. |
