Ranger Car Stereo and Speaker Removal and Replacement
Front Speaker Removal and Replacement Ford Ranger See Speaker Phasing Below     Rear Speaker Removal and Replacement Ford Ranger See Speaker Phasing Below     Ford Ranger Removing and Installing Car Stereo 1.1) A set of "Din Removal Tools" or "Ford Stereo Removal Tools" are needed. Stereo Removal Tools 2.1) Locate two small openings on left side of car stereo. 3.1) Insert removal tool, tool should click into place when seated. 4.1) Locate two small openings on right side of car stereo. 5.1) Insert removal tool, tool should click into place when seated. 6.1) Grasp ends of removal tools. 7.1) Spread end of tools apart from each other. 8.1) Pull car stereo from dash. Depending on how snug stereo may be fitted to dash, you may have to wiggle the stereo side to side to remove. 9.1) Grasp base of antenna connector. 10.1) Pull to remove from car stereo. 11.1) At main connector, locate locking trigger at bottom of connector. 12.1) Squeeze locking trigger into connector to release and remove. How Removal Tools Work 13.1) Spring clip attached to side of car stereo locks edge of dash between face of stereo and clip. 14.1) Removal tool when inserted locks into spring clip. 15.1) When pushing ends of tools away from each other, this pulls the spring clip into the side of the stereo releasing the lock to allow car stereo to be pulled from dash. 16.1) To remove tools from car stereo, push down on spring clip. 17.1) Remove tool from car stereo. 18.1) When installing car stereo, locate mounting slide bracket. 19.1) Opening on sides on slide bracket mate to slide bar in dash to secure the stereo from vibrations and bumps. 20.1) Make all connections to back of car stereo including antenna, slide car stereo into dash, push to lock into dash..

Ford Ranger How Rear Door Speaker Remove and Replace How to Remove Ford Ranger Rear Door Panel and Speaker Removing and Replacing 1.1) Gently pry bottom edge of top seat belt restraint cover to release clip. Clip releases with pry pressure. 2.1) Lift seat belt restraint cover. 3.1) Remove exposed nut. 4.1) Remove seat belt from bolt and allow to hang from door. 5.1) Gently pry top left corner of door panel releasing clips. All clips release with pry pressure. 6.1) Pry down edge of door panel releasing clips. 7.1) Pry down edge of door panel releasing clips. 8.1) Pry along top edge of door panel releasing clips. 9.1) Pry down along edge of door panel releasing clips. 10.1) Pull door panel back away from door. 11.1) Bottom corner of door panel at seat belt restraint will release by pulling door panel up and away. 12.1) Door panel can be moved to the side for access to door. 13.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips. In many cases, there will be more than one clip remaining on door. 14.1) Pry door panel clips from door to release. 15.1) Slid door panel clips into corresponding slots on door panel, ready for reinstallation. 16.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door, remove speaker and disconnect. See Speaker Phasing above. 17.1) During reinstallation of door panel, tuck bottom corner of panel behind seat belt restraint first. Be sure all door panel clips mate to openings in door before pushing door panel back into place. 18.1) Along outside edge of door panel, lift rubber weather stripping from behind panel to cover edge of door panel.
