Honda Prelude Front Speaker Remove and Install Honda Prelude Front Speaker Removal and Installation 1.1) At speaker grill cover on door. 2.1) Gently pry back bottom edge of speaker grill cover from door panel. 3.1) Grasp loose edge of speaker grill cover. 3.2) Pull bottom edge of speaker grill cover from door panel. 4.1) Pull speaker grill cover down to release two tabs at top of grill from door panel. 5.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door and remove. NOTE - for determining aftermarket installation polarity of speaker for correct hook up see Speaker Phasing above.
Honda Prelude Rear Speaker Remove and Install Honda Prelude Rear Speaker Removal and Replace 1.1) Gently lift plastic cover on tie down restraint. 2.1) Remove plastic cover and set to side. 3.1) Gently pry corner of speaker grill cover from rear deck. The clips securing speaker cover are snug, pry pressure will release these clips. 4.1) Repeat, gently pry all corners of speaker grill cover to release. 5.1) Remove speaker grill cover. 6.1) Check speaker grill for clips. You may have to pry clips not removed with panel from rear deck. Reinstall clips onto speaker grill cover. 7.1) Remove four screws securing speaker to rear deck. NOTE - for determining aftermarket installation polarity of speaker for correct hook up see Speaker Phasing above.
