Hyundai Tiburon Car Stereo and Speaker Removal and Install

	Hyundai Tiburon Car Stereo Removal and Installation
	1.1) Set parking brake and shift to drive. 1.2) Gently pry back of trim panel around gear shift.
	2.1) Lift trim ring from center console.
	3.1) Remove trim ring from gear shift area and set to side.
	4.1) Gently pry upper dash trim panel.
	5.1) Pull down on upper edge of trim panel to release from dash.
	6.1) Remove trim panel and set to side.
	Single Din Stereo (Shown here) 7.1) Remove screws securing pocket to dash.
	Single Din Stereo (Shown here) 8.1) Remove two screws securing car stereo to dash. Double Din Stereo 8.1) Remove four screws securing car stereo to dash.
	9.1) Pull car stereo from dash. 9.2) Release trigger on connector to disconnect and remove antenna.


	Aftermarket Installation Metra Wireharness 70-7300 No installation kit needed
	10.1) Connect Metra wire harness to aftermarket car stereo wire harness. Connectors should mate color for color.
	11.1) Remove brackets from factory car stereo.
	12.1) Remove sleeve from aftermarket stereo. Sometimes this sleeve is supplied separately.
	13.1) Install brackets onto aftermarket stereo. Use screws provided with aftermarket stereo.
	14.1) Connect wire harness to factory harness in dash. 14.2) Connect wire harness and antenna to aftermarket car stereo. 14.3) Mount car stereo to dash. 14.4) This is a good time to test car stereo before completing installation.

Hyundai Tiburon Remove and Replace Front Speakers
	Hyundai Tiburon Front Speaker Removal
	1.1) Remove one screw at top leading edge of door panel.
	2.1) Remove one lower screw from door panel.
	3.1) Remove one screw from door open handle cavity.
	4.1) Pull on door open handle to release insert panel.
	5.1) Remove insert panel over door open handle.
	6.1) Gently pry two screw covers from door pull handle.
	7.1) Remove two exposed screws.
	8.1) Remove screws along bottom edge of door panel.
	9.1) Remove screws along back edge of door panel.
	10.1) Gently pry top edge of small panel above door panel.
	11.1) Work your way down edge of panel releasing all clips.
	12.1) Remove panel and set to side.
	13.1) Gently pry leading edge of control panel from door panel.
	14.1) Pull panel toward front of door panel to release rear clip.
	15.1) Remove control panel, release trigger on connector to disconnect. 15.2) Set control panel to side.
	16.1) Starting at back bottom edge of door panel, pry door panel from door.
	17.1) Work your way across bottom of panel then up front and back of panel releasing all clips.
	18.1) Lift rear edge of door panel up out of window jam followed by front edge of door panel.
	19.1) Check door for any remaining clips not removed with door panel. 19.2) Pry door panel clips from door to remove.
	20.1) Place door panel clips back onto door panel ready for reinstallation.
	21.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door and remove speaker. NOTE - for determining aftermarket installation polarity of speaker wires for correct hook up see Speaker Phasing above.

Hyundai Tiburon Remove and Install Rear Speaker
	Hyundai Tiburon Rear Speaker Removal
	1.1) Gently pry top edge of speaker grill from side panel releasing two clips. All clips release with pressure.
	2.1) Pull speaker panel up to release to bottom hooks and remove speaker grill.
	3.1) Remove screws securing speaker and remove speaker. NOTE - for determining aftermarket installation polarity of speaker wires for correct hook up see Speaker Phasing above.
