Removing Infiniti G35 Bose Car Stereo Removal | |
1.1) Set Parking Brake and shift to low gear. | |
2.1) Grasp side of gear shift boot below gear shift knob. | |
3.1) Push down on boot to release from gear shift knob. | |
4.1) Locate locking "C" clip exposed on bottom of gear shift knob. | |
5.1) Remove "C" clip. | |
6.1) Lift gear shift knob up to remove. | |
7.1) Install "C" clip back onto gear shift. During reinstallation gear shift knob will push down to lock into place. | |
8.1) Pry right side of center console panel releasing clip. All clips release with pry pressure. | |
9.1) Pry left side of center console panel releasing clip. | |
10.1) Lift back of panel up and back from front of dash releasing remaining clips. | |
11.1) Lift panel up to release over gear shift shaft. | |
12.1) Back of panel, squeeze trigger center of connector into connector to release and remove. | |
13.1) Remove second connector on panel. 13.2) Remove panel and set to side. |

14.1) Across center of dash, pry trim panel from dash to release clips. | |
15.1) Pry right side of trim panel to release clips. | |
16.1) Pry left side of trim panel to release clips. | |
17.1) Remove trim panel. | |
18.1) Check back of trim panel for clips. | |
19.1) Clips may remain in dash, remove clips from dash. | |
20.1) Locate clip position on trim panel. | |
21.1) Push clips into place on trim panel ready for reinstallation. | |
22.1) Top of dash above clock, grasp panel. | |
23.1) Lift panel up to release clips and remove. | |
24.1) Check panel for missing clips remaining in dash. 24.2) Set panel to side. |

25.1) Pry bottom right edge of lower panel on dash releasing clips. | |
26.1) Pry bottom left edge of lower panel on dash releasing clips. | |
27.1) Grasp edge of panel and pull up to release remaining clips. | |
28.1) Remove panel. | |
29.1) Check panel for missing clips remaining in dash. 29.2) Set panel to side. |

30.1) Remove exposed screw in opening. This is the top mounting screw for the car stereo. | |
31.1) Left side of gear shift, remove exposed screw. | |
32.1) Grasp inside edge of panel. | |
33.1) Lift up to release clip along side of center console. | |
34.1) Pull upper end of panel back from dash releasing clips. | |
35.1) Check panel for missing clips remaining in dash. 35.2) Set panel to side. |

36.1) Right side of gear shift, remove exposed screw. | |
37.1) Grasp inside edge of panel. | |
38.1) Pull upper end of panel back from dash releasing clips. | |
39.1) Check panel for missing clips remaining in dash. 39.2) Set panel to side. |

40.1) Bottom right of car stereo, remove mounting screw. | |
41.1) Bottom left of car stereo, remove mounting screw. | |
42.1) Top right of car stereo, remove mounting screw. | |
43.1) Top left of car stereo, remove mounting screw. | |
44.1) Grasp bottom edge of car stereo. | |
45.1) Pull bottom car stereo from dash. | |
46.1) Pull car stereo down to release mounting bracket at clock opening down through dash to release. | |
47.1) Pull car stereo forward for access to connectors. | |
48.1) Squeeze trigger at side of antenna into antenna jack to release and remove. | |
49.1) Locate connectors on back of car stereo. | |
50.1) Squeeze trigger on first connector on car stereo to release and remove. | |
51.1) Squeeze trigger on second connector on car stereo to release and remove. 52.2) Remove any remaining connectors on car stereo and AC controls. |

53.1) Remove car stereo. | |
