Lincoln Aviator Front Speaker Replacement How to Lincoln Aviator Front Speaker Removal 1.1) At hand hold, pry edge of small panel up. 2.1) Lift panel up for access. 3.1) Remove two exposed screws. 4.1) Pry edge of control panel up releasing clip. All clips release with pry pressure. 4.2) Pry along edge of control panel releasing all clips. 5.1) Pull control panel up from arm rest. 6.1) Release trigger on first connector to disconnect and remove. 7.1) Release trigger on second connector to disconnect and remove. 8.1) Slide small flat head screw driver into edge of third connector to release lock and remove. 9.1) Remove panel and set to side. 10.1) Remove exposed screw. 11.1) Behind door handle, pry edge of small panel to release. 12.1) Remove exposed screw. 13.1) Along bottom rear edge of door panel, remove screw. 14.1) Along bottom front edge of door panel, remove screw. 15.1) Grasp bottom of door panel. 16.1) Pull bottom of panel straight up to release door panel hooks and up out of window jam. 17.1) Pull top edge of door panel back for access. 17.2) Locate connector on door panel. 18.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect and remove. 18.1) Locate door handle cable. 19.1) Release cable from securing lock on door. 20.1) Locate locks at base assembly. 21.1) Lock has two releases opposite of each other. 22.1) With needle nose pliers, squeeze triggers together. 23.1) Pull lock base back to release. 24.1) Lift cable up through slot in mount to release. 25.1) Turn cable to align with opening at end. 26.1) Lift end of cable up to release. 26.2) Remove door panel and set to side. 27.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door and remove speaker. 28.1) When reinstalling door panel, door panel has many hooks. 29.1) Hooks must align with openings in door, align door lock pin at top back edge of door panel and push panel down to lock into place.
