Mazda Millenia How to Remove, Repair and Install Car Stereo 1.1) With small flat head screw driver, gently pry two side panels from car stereo and remove. "Din Tools" Stereo Removal Tools 2.1) Many Mazda stereos require one set (2) of din tools (special U-shaped tools). The Mazda Millenia requires two sets (4) inserted into holes on each side of stereo to release the locking mechanism. 2.2) Pull stereo from dash, disconnect antenna and wires. *NOTE - On the rare occasion, when din tools are inserted and do not lock, the spring brackets may be misaligned. 3.1) Gently pry on AC vents to remove. 4.1) Be careful to remove entire vent assembly, front dash trim panel may clip free but can be snapped back into place. 5.1) With AC vents removed, place hand into opening to push side spring lever in toward stereo (where thumb is) while inserting "Din" tools. They should now lock into place and allow removal.

Mazda Millenia Bose Amplifier Removal for Repair Mazda Millenia How to Remove Bose Amplifier 1.1) Before removal, check connectors at Bose speakers in trunk. We have seen broken connectors cause the speakers to sound distorted or pop at high volume. 2.1) Unlock panels by bending side carpet panel from behind rear seat panel. CAUTION - be careful when removing this panel to side, not to hit connector on Bose speaker in rear deck. 3.1) Bend top edge of panel down to clear Bose speaker connector. 4.1) Pull side panel back away from side of car. 5.1) Grasp top edge corner of rear seat panel back. 6.1) Pull edge of rear seat panel back for access to Bose amplifier. 7.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect. 8.1) Remove bolts securing Bose amplifier. 9.1) Gently pry Bose amplifier mounting plate. 10.1) Remove Bose amplifier.
Mazda Millenia Front Tweeter Removal and Replacement Mazda Millenia How to Remove and Replace Front Dash Tweeter 1.1) Gently pry right side of dash speaker grill cover from dash releasing clip. All clips release with pressure. 2.1) Pry around edge of grill cover to release all clips. 3.1) Remove grill cover and set to side. 4.1) Remove screws securing speaker to dash. 5.1) Twist speaker in opening to release and remove slightly from cavity. 6.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect speaker and remove.
