How to Remove and Install Car Stereo
(Instructions for Single and Double Din size stereos)

SINGLE DIN STEREO

1.1) With small flat screw driver, pry side panel from car stereo.

Din Tools can be purchased at a local Auto Parts Store. They are Ford Car Stereo removal tools.

DOUBLE DIN STEREO

2.1) Install Removal Tools into opening on each side of car stereo and remove car stereo.

Mazda Protege Front Door Panel Speaker Removal and Replacement
	Mazda Protege How to Remove and Replace Front Door Panel Speakers
	1.1) Release screw cap and remove exposed screw. 1.2) Remove two screws in door pull handle. 1.3) Remove one screw from door open handle assembly.
	2.1) Release door handle pull from door panel.
	3.1) Remove two exposed screws from door handle removal.
	4.1) Lift back edge of control panel. 4.2) Remove and disconnect connector from panel.
	5.1) Pull center clip from mount about 1/4", pull door panel clip from panel.
	6.1) Remove door panel by starting at bottom of panel, releasing clips. 6.2) Lift door panel up out of window jam, this also releases two clips.
	7.1) Feed door open assembly through door panel opening.
	8.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door. See Speaker Phasing above.

	1.1) On back edge of door panel, pull center clips from mount about 1/4", pull door panel clip from panel.
	2.1) Remove two screws, one from leading edge of door panel and one from the door open assembly.
	3.1) Remove door handle cover.
	4.1) Remove two exposed screws from door handle removal.
	5.1) Release door open handle assembly by prying up from back edge first.
	6.1) Remove door by starting at bottom of panel releasing clips. 6.2) Lift door panel up out of window jam.
	7.1) Feed door open assembly through door panel opening.
	8.1) Disconnect control connector. 8.2) Remove screws securing speaker to door. See Speaker Phasing above.
