Mitsubishi Diamante Radio - Remove, Replace and Install

	Mitsubishi Diamante Removing and Installing Car Stereo

	1.1) Remove coin holders, this allows for easier removal of tray assembly with switch. Lift up and remove tray.

	2.1) Remove two screws at bottom of console exposed from removal of tray assembly.

	3.1) Remove two screws, one from each side of center console at front.

	4.1) Remove two screws, one from each side of center console at rear, (move front seats forward). SET PARKING BRAKE

	5.1) Insert key, to "On" position, shift to lower gear. 5.2) Pull center console back from front of dash. 5.3) Remove two exposed screws. 5.4) Remove ash tray, this will allow for a hand hold. (Some models have screw inside ash tray cavity.) 5.5) Pry trim panel from dash releasing remaining clips. (Top of the trim panel above car stereo is tricky, be careful.)

	6.1) Remove four screws securing car stereo to dash. 6.2) Pull car stereo from dash, disconnect antennas and connectors. Note: When reinstalling car stereo do not forget to install ground strap.
