Nissan Altima How to Car Audio Removal and Replacement
Nissan Altima Car Stereo Removal 1.1) Lift trim from around gear shift by pulling up from back of panel first, releasing clips. 2.1) Remove two exposed screws from trim panel removal. 3.1) Remove two screws in trim panel above car stereo. 3.2) Remove ash tray. 4.1) Set parking brake and shift to low gear. 4.2) Pull bottom of car stereo trim panel up over tabs and remove from dash, releasing clips. 4.3) Release lighter connector. 5.1) Remove four screws, two from each side of car stereo securing car stereo to dash. 5.2) Pull car stereo forward, disconnect antenna and connectors.

Nissan Altima Front Door Panel Speaker Removal
Nissan Altima 98-01 Front Passenger Side Speaker Removal Instructions (Drivers Door Panel Below) 1.1) Remove screw cover from door handle pull in arm rest and remove exposed screw. 2.1) Lift back edge of control panel first, releasing clips. 3.1) Pull leading edge of control panel back releasing tongue from front of panel. 4.1) Release trigger on connector and set control panel to side. 5.1) Gently pry top edge of small trim panel at top of leading edge of door panel from door. 6.1) Release three clips and set panel to side. 7.1) Gently pry tweeter and door open trim panel from door panel. 8.1) Remove trim panel and set to side. 9.1) Pry bottom of door panel from door. 9.2) Work up front and rear edges of door panel releasing clips. 10.1) Lift rear edge of door panel from window jam then front edge. 10.2) Set door panel to side. 11.1) Remove four screws securing car stereo speaker to door. 12.1) Pull car stereo speaker from door, release trigger on connector and remove. Driver's Door Panel 13.1) Remove screw cover from door handle pull in arm rest and remove exposed screw. 14.1) Remove hand hold pocket from door panel. 15.1) Gently slide small flat head screw driver under leading edge of control panel to release front locking spring. 16.1) Lift control panel from door panel. 17.1) Release trigger at connector on control panel and set panel to side. 17.2) Follow steps for passenger door panel to complete.
Nissan Altima Rear Deck Speaker Removal Instructions 1.1) Gently pry panel pin from panel at center seat belt. 2.1) Gently pry panel pin from panel at left of center seat belt. 3.1) Pull center brake light assembly toward front of car to release clips. 4.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect and set center brake light assembly to side. 5.1) Release rear seats to down position. 5.2) Gently pry panel pin from under panel to release, repeat for both sides of center panel. 6.1) Pull from behind panel to release clips on both outside panels. 7.1) From side of rear window, pull side panel from car releasing clips. 8.1) Pull panel up after releasing all clips to release hook on bottom of panel into rear deck. 9.1) Repeat steps for passenger side of car and remove panel. 10.1) This is your antenna amplifier, if for some reason you ever need to know where it is located. 11.1) Pry panel pins from rear deck near center brake light assembly. 12.1) Pull rear deck panel up from behind lower panel. 13.1) Lift ends of panel up over ends of remaining seat backs. 13.2) Pull panel forward from rear deck. 14.1) Place panel down for access to rear speakers. 15.1) Remove screws securing rear speakers to deck and remove.
