Nissan Maxima Front Speaker
Removal |
|
1.1) With flat head screw
driver, gently pry small cover from door open handle assembly. |
|
2.1) Remove cover and set to
side. |
|
3.1) Remove exposed screw from
door handle cavity. |
|
4.1) Gently pry leading edge on
trim panel from door panel releasing clips. All clips release with
pressure. |
|
5.1) Work your way down side of
trim panel releasing all clips. |
|
6.1) Remove trim panel and set
to side. |
|
7.1) Forward opening, exposed
with panel removal, remove one screw. |
|
8.1) Rear opening, exposed with
panel removal, remove one screw. |
|
9.1) At forward exposed opening,
use screw driver to push clip on edge of control panel forward and up to
release. |
|
10.1) Lift back of control panel
up. |
|
11.1) Grasp sides of control
panel and pull toward back of door. |
|
12.1) Pulling control panel back
releases front clip from under edge of door panel. |
|
13.1) Release trigger on
connectors to disconnect and set control panel to side. |
|
14.1) Gently pry bottom back edge
of door panel from door releasing clips. |
|
15.1) Work your way across bottom
of panel then up both sides releasing all clips. |
|
16.1) Lift back edge of door
panel up out of window jam. |
|
17.1) This was a little tricky,
pull leading edge of door panel away from mounted tweeter assembly on door
while pulling front of door panel up out of window jam. |
|
18.1) Reach over top edge of door
panel, release trigger on connectors at courtesy light and switches to
disconnect. |
|
19.1) Door cables for door lock
and door open handle, grasp first cable. |
|
20.1) Pull straight away from
door panel to unlock cable from notch. |
|
21.1) Pull cable around to mate
with opening securing end of cable to release. |
|
22.1) Remove cable, repeat for
second cable. Remove door panel and set to side. Check door for any door
panel clips not removed. Pry clips from door and reinstall on door panel. |
|
23.1) Tweeter removal, remove one
screw securing lower tweeter assembly. |
|
24.1) Gently pry upper edge of
tweeter assembly to release clip. |
|
25.1) Remove tweeter assembly,
release trigger on connector to disconnect. |
|
26.1) Remove screws securing
tweeter to tweeter assembly. |
|
27.1) At door speaker, release
trigger on connector to disconnect. |
|
28.1) Remove screws securing
speaker to door.
