Pontiac Firebird How to Remove Car Stereo
1.1) Gently pry trim bezel from dash surrounding car stereo and
climate control to remove.
2.1) Remove three screws
securing car stereo to dash.
2.2) Pull car stereo forward, remove antenna and connectors.

Front Door Speaker How to Removal and Install
1.1) Remove screws in side pocket.
2.1) Gently pry control panel up and let lay
to side.
3.1) Remove screw from door open cavity.
4.1) Remove door lock slide lever, it has a
clip and remove.
4.2) Remove panel over door open handle.
5.1) Remove exposed screw.
6.1) Remove screw under front of
arm rest.
7.1) Remove screw under rear of arm rest.
8.1) Remove screw securing panel and remove.
9.1) Remove door panel and feed control panel
through opening.
9.2) Remove screws securing car speaker to door panel.
9.3) This is a 6 3/4" speaker, we have seen Pioneer sell a two way speaker
that will fit this spot. You will have to trim the mounting tabs to allow
the door panel to mount back onto door easily.

How to Rear Seat Side Speaker Removal and
Install
1) Gently squeeze edge of speaker grill
toward center of speaker gill.
2) Lift and release speaker grill cover.
3) Remove screws securing speaker and remove.

IMPORTANT - There are two (2) yellow*, two (2) gray and two (2)
brown wires in this harness. Locate the +12 volt constant wire first.
Label it or splice to constant wire on aftermarket stereo first. Swapping
yellow wires will cause damage to any aftermarket stereo. Check fuses if your unable to find +12 volts.
