Subaru Forester Rear Speaker Removal and Installation |
|
1.1) At hand hole on arm
rest, pry small cover to release and remove. |
|
2.1) Remove exposed screw from
hand hole cavity. |
|
3.1) Pry edge of control panel to release clips. All clips
release with pry pressure. |
|
4.1) Pry along edge of control panel releasing clips. |
|
5.1) Pry front edge of control panel releasing clips. |
|
6.1) Pull panel from arm rest. |
|
7.1) Squeeze trigger on connector into connector to
release. |
|
8.1) Remove control panel and set to side. |
|
9.1) Pry edge of trim ring at door handle releasing clips. |
|
10.1) Pry around edge of trim ring releasing clips. |
|
11.1) Pry along edge of trim panel to release all clips. |
|
12.1) Remove trim ring and set to side. |
|
13.1) Pry back bottom edge of door panel from door
releasing clips. |
|
14.1) Pry along bottom edge of door panel releasing clips.
14.2) Pry up front edge of door panel releasing clips.
|
|
15.1) Pull bottom edge of door panel away from door verifying all clips are released. |
|
16.1) Lift back edge of door panel up out of window jam. |
|
17.1) Lift front edge of door panel up out of window jam to remove. |
|
18.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips. |
|
19.1) Pry door panel clips from door to release and remove. |
|
20.1) Slide door panel clips into corresponding mounts on
door panel ready for reinstallation. |
|
21.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect speaker. |
|
22.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door and remove. |
