Removing Speakers, Replacement and Install Toyota Camry How to Front Speaker Removal 1.1) Along back edge of door panel, push center of clip in 1/4". This releases clip, remove entire clip from door panel. NOTE - when reinstalling this clip push center pin back through clip 1/4", place clip back into place on door panel and push center pin flush to lock. 2.1) Remove plastic cover from side of arm rest and remove exposed screw. 2.2) Remove one screw below arm rest. NOTE - on the '97, the second screw is not there. 3.1) Remove two screws along bottom edge of door panel. 4.1) Pull triangular panel from door panel releasing clips. On premium sound systems the tweeter is mounted here. 5.1) Remove plastic cover from door panel and remove exposed screw. 6.1) Pry door control panel from arm rest by starting at back of panel. 6.2) Disconnect connectors and set control panel to side. 7.1) Remove cover in door open handle cavity and remove exposed screw. 8.1) Gently pry door handle trim up away from door lock control releasing clip. 9.1) Gently pry door handle trim down away from door open handle releasing clip. 9.2) Remove trim panel. 9.3) Pull bottom of door panel away from door releasing clips. 9.4) Lift door panel up out of window jam. 9.5) Remove screws securing car stereo speaker to door.
