No charge if we are unable to repair. Our success rate on this stereo is dropping because of the extent of damage from letting this one go too long before repair.

No display and/or speakers have static after amplifier repair or recall. Radio intermittently powers up, tape auto-reverses intermittently or runs fast, $145-150. Snapping and popping will be a Bose amplifier problem. This stereo controls the Bose amplifier above.

 		 CD skips, does not play, has error code. We No longer repair this CD changer. Alpine supplies no technical support, service literature or OEM parts.

 
  89-91 Acura Legend

 		 Audio fades and/or tape speed is defective. Tape speed fast is a defective five connection tape motor and requires replacement.
  Integra
Pioneer Car Radio		 Tape functions incorrectly or not at all, push buttons do not respond (unable to enter code?). Unable to enter code? Check all the push buttons on face of car stereo. They should have a small "Click" to them when pushed. Switches beneath the buttons may be defective, feel flat when pushed or not respond. Defective switch or switches can be replaced.
 
  90-92 Integra
Car Radio		 Distorted output especially with bass turned up. Speakers are likely deteriorated, check foam surround, replace with 6 1/2" speakers, this is a do it yourself job.
 
  Acura
Vigor with DSP

 		 No Display, audio is distorted. For no display, this is usually poor solder connections on many surface mount resistors on main printed circuit board.

 		 Only output is static, at all volume levels, no AM and/or FM.
