Many radio codes are available by email if
you have an "HR" and "Min" button on the face of the stereo and NO RDS. All
RDS radios require seeing the dealership. This radio needs to be placed on
the car computer to program the stereo to work in the specific vehicle it is
mounted in. |

No tape, tape ejects, or tape
auto reverses on it's own. This tape mechanism is made by Blaupunkt. There
is a possibility of a broken drive belt, but most cases this a cassette
mechanism has sensor problems and badly glazed pinch rollers. Weak channel, speakers snap, (usually right front first), crackle, sound blown, distorted or does not work.

Dead or no power. Before repair, check dome
light, cigarette lighter and door chime. If one of these are not working properly there is
a blown fuse in fuse panel. (We usually find a coin or metal object in the cigarette
lighter.) Weak channel, speakers snap, (usually right front first), crackle, sound blown, distorted or does not work. Does not eject tape,. Repair rate of these stereos, $85-165. Display remains on with ignition OFF. This may drain the battery. Repair rate for this stereo $95-135. |
