Six CD changer will not accept CD,
will not eject, or gears grind, $295. Before repair, try disconnecting one
of the battery terminals for several minutes then reconnect. This may act as
a "Reset" and bring the changer back to working condition. Otherwise, repair
is needed. CD player jammed, will not eject, intermittent or distorted
channel (usually left side). Single CD player will not accept CD, will not
eject, or gears grind, $125. Only CD player is needed in shop for repair.

2001-03 Six CD Changer, changer jammed, clicks, will
not play CD's, err message, and/or distorted audio on CD, one side of audio
missing on CD only, $295. Before
repair, try disconnecting one of the battery terminals for several minutes
then reconnect. This may act as a "Reset" and bring the changer back to
working condition. Otherwise, repair is needed. No output, you may have a
burnt component smell from the stereo?
2000-2003 NO DISPLAY, $145. However, repair rate can go to $295, eject
all CD's before sending. CD's remaining in stereo can cause damage to the

clicking sound under dash and/or power antenna up and down, scratchy volume

'91-92 Maxima and 300zx tape functions incorrectly or not at all, poor audio on tape, unit
will not power up or intermittent, scratchy volume and slide controls, no or intermittent
display, poor or squealing FM, requires overhaul of stereo $185, for repair of all known problems
to date.

NOTE - Speakers sound distorted? Probably bad speakers.
Visually inspect speaker for deteriorated, ripped or torn foam surround. |

Clarion no longer repairs this stereo. We suggest up grading to a newer Bose
stereo, '97-99. You will require an adaptor wire harness for the direct plug
