Defective tape, defective AM and FM good or poor, check antenna. Defective AM or FM, defective tuner box with amplifier, located in trunk on drivers side wheel well. We suggest a salvage yard on this one.

Distorted output on tape. For bad display, static, scratchy or loss of audio when adjusting volume controls. Radio Shack sells a "Control/Contact
Cleaner". Remove the stereo and top cover for access to openings in rheostat
volume control. Spay, rotate control and repeat several times. Radio Shack
also sells the bayonet lamp for the display. |
